Overrev Buzzer?

if I didn't have the buzzer, I wouldn't even know I was overreving. The first time I drove it I hit and was like "WTH was that?" It feels like I could rev it to 9k with no problems.

thats because ITS A ROTARY!!!!!!!!!!!!
but if you change when the buzzer starts its way too early
mazda has revved std 12As to 22,000 rpm before engine failure
ever noticed the RPM gauge the first model 1st gen????
theres small fine print 10 11 12 13 rpm marks near centre of the gauge........
the needle on the tach goes thru 360 degrees
the only thing stopping a 12A revving past 8500 to 10,000rpm and beyond are the counter weights in the dizzy that cut the ign
take them out and watch her scream!!!!!!

That lower set of numbers is the voltage. The tach in 79-80 US models doubles as a volt meter when the key is on, engine not running.

Trust me, the tach does NOT read higher than 8K

awww cmon you spoiled my fun too early!!!!
OK the buzzer being too early, the dizzy mod and the 22,000 rpm by mazda is definately true though!!!!!!!!!!
