Well, I guess I'm gonna try and get my car back to my workspot (in the dead of night @cool temps) and I'm gonna try a drain, flush, and refill of the cooling system just to make sure there isn't any stirred up crap in there clogging things up. What's the best/safest way to do this exactly? I noticed there is a screw on garden hose T connector on my heater line that Y's off of the lower rad hose... Haynes was talking 'bout disconnecting heater hose from left side of engine? Where is that? And connecting water supply there, and disconnecting lower rad hose for the "exit". Is this the way to do it? Which way does the water "flow" thru the system, exactly? If the lower rad hose is the "intake" for the waterpump, then how would it pump anything around with the lower rad hose disconnected? So I do or don't use the hookup allready there? Please enlighten me, I really need to get this figured out. Thanks.

Well, I got my car back to my "work spot" and let it cool, then drained coolant from the rad and block. Put old sensor back in the bottom of the "new" rad. Replaced upper rad hose with one from a parts car(deleting the existing trap) .Hooked up garden hose (conical tip) shoved into the heater hose on driver's side, and flushed out the block drain and lower rad hose. Then did the same from into the block. Everything ran out fast and clear. Refilled, squeezed hoses for ~20 mins, etc. Temps are holding now at about ~1/3 of the way up the temp. gauge. Before it was ALWAYS at about ~1/4 of the way... Don't know why, only thing different is a different rad (flow checked @12Gpm, pressure checked), and a new WP, and ditched my Yoohoo belt for a gutted air pump and belt. Put my fan clutch back on (that leaked fluid whilst it was off) and it seems to be behaving and engaging normally.
FWI: new fan clutches(at least in my case) are NLA from:Mazda,Mazdatrix,Autozone, etc...
