I have a 1980 RX7 and I was wondering how am I to tell what options came with my car originally? My Vin# is so small it tells me nothing, unlike other years. Was there different models for the 1980 year? Thanks in advance!

Can you post pictures, Interior and exterior. Or give a brief description to help ID the model? For example: Cruise control, sunroof, power windows, fabric or leather or vinyl interior, rear wiper. etc

 

In 1980 there were three trim levels S, GS, and LS plus an anniversary edition based off of the LS, I think. See this link for some details http://www.rotorhead.ca/topic.php?fldr=tech&cntnt=1980.

I never knew they bragged about increased fuel economy on the switch from the SA to the FB, even though it was just a larger tank. lol at Mazda.
