yeah i know, but here in tn i have friends that hook it up, dont ask me how, but they do, no check with the mirror, i tune my car so it runs like absolute ****, i got a better rating than a civic accually...

Michigan, automobile capital of the world if you believe the licence plate, and we have no emission checks, gotta love it.

New Mexico, The Land Of Enchantment, has that exact same blessing. We do have NOISE emission laws, though (if a Cop thinks your exhaust is too loud, he can ticket you).

Isn't stock 135 hp? Did you only gain 10 hp with the weber setup?

Nice job. Alot like my own.

I highly recommend that you lose the Purolator fuel regulator. Mine came apart with only 4 pounds on it and gas went everywhere. Luckily, my brother and I were standing in front of the open hood while the engine was running when it literally came apart and drenched the engine compartment before we could shut off the engine. Mine only had 3000 miles on it in front of a Holley red.

Remember how much it cost ? Like 25-30 bucks ? You get what you pay for... sometimes less. Get a better fuel regulator and sell the working purolator on ebay to some rice boinger for 20 bucks !

first off there is no way you're getting 145 to the wheels like you're guessing. expecially wiyhout an exhaust!! not to be an *******, but i have a 45dcoe very well tuned on a strong 13b with alot of other mods and i only put down 139 to the wheels. and stock they have 135 at the FLYWHEEL!!! and that usually results to about 95 to the wheels... And my car runs better than most people with the same mods. My best 1/4 mile time is 14.6@91mph and i havent met anyone faster with a 13b 45dcoe stock ported engine...

You should have shown the pic of the drivers side and the dent behind the door. I know who bought that car. A little too much for what he got.

that dent happend after he bought it, since he bought it from kevin at top end, kevin took it home and his wife backed into it... and put 3 dents in the hood, the guy traded in his 2000 corolla for it, and hes telling people that he built it and that the motor is street ported... when its really not

really? well that makes me more happy! i was reading in a turbo magazine when they did a report on the rotary, they said if u put a holley 600 on the 6port with full exhaust you would put some crazy numbers down like 180 hp at the flywheel... now thats pretty impressive, and they said that is the strongest reccomendation

yup yup 139 to the wheels is aboot 180 at the flywheel...(assuming 25% drive train loss) This winter i have a secret plan going, once its compleate i will show all of you guys with a full write up. My goal is 220 to the wheels stock port with no NOS or turbo. Thats all i am saying I don't want opinions or comments cause it will happen.... My car crew and I are going to make this happen...

I have a red holley fuel regulator with a guage on it in the engine compartment between the accel linkage and the firewall. I would recommend it or the NOS brand because of size, durability, looks, and accuracy. I'm sure there are many others, but only one that I know can be a POS and that is the chrome purolator dial type that failed me.

Thumbs down hp numbers????

well not to sound like an azzhole but i have owned 13 rx7s of all diff years. i have worked at dealerships and now performance shops my whole life so i have alittle bit of knowledge when it comes to the rx7. and i have had 2 all motor 13b 6ports both put down over 145hp to the rear wheels (1st and second gen) both with a 45 dcoe sidedraft weber. None of theose cars were tuned at all the rirst one was running so rich it almost went off the dyno chart and the second wasnt much better but thats how you have to jet a stock port 13b. So for you to put your personal numbers up there and to tell my brother that there is now way that he has approx. 145@ the wheels is incorrect!
Also you said that you never seen anybody faster than 14.6 in the 1320(quarter mile) i myself ran 14.6XX consistantly at sacramento raceway which i have on video tape back in 1998 1999. with a 1985gslse 13b 6port 45dcoe sidefraft.. so dont get too wound up because there is tons of other ppl out there that have been doin this alittle longer than you!
