You'll often see me praise my holley and more often swear by an edelbrock. However, I have never heard a bad thing about a sterling carb or sterling himself. Personally, I wouldn't bother with an aftermarket intake and carb for a 12a, even if it's streetported. Stay with the stock intake, a sterling carb and invest the rest in ignition, gears and exhaust and you can't go wrong!

Sterling gets from me!

Me too. Of course I've been rocking one for over a year now. Even if I didn't like Sterling himself, I'd have a very hard time knocking the product. It is very well crafted, amazing attention to detail, great performance gains, behaves on the street and on the track and is very easy to tune. Customer service is second to none. You certainly won't see the same from RB or Holley. He also has a website with tons of general carb info as well as a forum. www.sterlingmetalworks.com if you haven't been there yet. If your thinking about it, then stop thinking and buy one. You won't be sorry. If somehow you are, I'll eat my hat.

I hear so many good things about the Sterling carb that I almost wish my car had a 12A w/ nikki just so I could buy a Sterling to actually feel all of the improvements, but I bought in to having a 13B with a Dellorto which I love so I don't have the room or compatibility to play with the sterling. Someday if I own a 12A car, I definitely want to give his product a try, I read through his website and the man knows what he is doing.

Sterling carbs rock. Plain and simple. I've got one on my daily driver/weekend racer and have loved it for years. With a free flowing exhaust, Sterling carb, and a few suspension upgrades, I'm beating up on everything from Z3's, S2000s, and supercharged Miatas on the autocross courses.

Check out my videos. Lots of incar stuff, and one of my favorites is the race in heavy rain where the throttle control of the Sterling really paid off.

I haven't had the delight of purchasing a carb from Dennis, but when I was recently emailing him he was NOTHING but helpful and patient. He'll definately be getting an order from me in the future
