Ooops, main pulley holes don't line up.

I'm transferring stuff from my old 13B to my new 13B (S5), and the shaft pulley doesn't fit. Three of the holes line up fine, but one doesn't. It's off by like half a hole. I tried turning the pulley, but it's the same no matter what. Do the new mounts require new pulleys that have an offset hole or something? I'm assuming it's probably done for the purpose of lining up the timing marks to TDC, but wtf? Old motors don't have that? Should I buy a new pulley?

Thnx.

Yeah man, the S5 pulley can't be attached to the hub wrong because the hole pattern is asymmetric. Break out the drill, once you've verified TDC.

I see. Other than drilling, which year pulley would actually work?

An S4 pulley would work. Your timing marks should line up just fine. S4 is a v-belt style so you can keep your other pullies.
