OMP return lever

hey quick question when fully warm and you goose the throttle is there a spring in the OMP that makes the lever return slower? Meaning its still putting a higher volume of oil in the lines and slowly works itself back to where it should be during closed throttle? almost like it sticking but still returns to normal location when closed throttle. My OMP is doing this, just wondering if thats standard operation.

No i'm not worried about it hurting anything just wondering if thats how its 'supposed' to work.

It should snap back, or close to it. The linkage that the rod connects to at the the throttle might need a little oil, or at least that was the case with my SE.
