Question OMP Removal Questions

Well, i'm running premix, and i want to remove the OMP cause it's leaking anyway.

question: When i take it off, can i just make a blocking plate to cover it's mounting location? Or can i gut the OMP itself, by taking it apart... i have a spare OMP from my other motor, i was wondering if you can just take out it's innards and bolt it back on and not have it pump oil anymore.

let me know what to do here, cause i'm sick of it leaking all the damn time and getting oil everywhere...

From my understanding, a block off plate is the easiest way to go. I might even have a spare gasket, now that I'm thinking about it.
