Oh yeah, thanks for posting this thread REVHEAD it made my night. It's nice seeing how others have modified there SA/FB's (even if most are n/a ). I like how that one guy adapted 5 lug FC brakes/calipers to his SA/FB, hmm might have to talk to my machniest buddy se if he can whip out some brackets.

the air comes in the front dam and out the top its great for cooling, mostly seen them with intercooler/radiator V style setups.

Heres a translation of the caption on that SA22C website.
first caption:
Showa 55(1980) rx-7zenki(early model) with JSS24 duct on a fiberglass hood. JSS front spoiler, and Katayama rear spoiler 253 mirrors.

13b bridgeported with weber48 with erc stainless steel exhaust. OS giken twin plate clutch, ERC crossmission, mazda speed LSD, full pillow ball suspension with OHLINS coilovers. RE540 tires, Front 185/55/14 rears 205/50/14. SSR Mark II rims, recaro SPG seat, FC3S radiator ,ETC.

Yeah those weird ports were on the 10a. You can also tell its a 10a by looking at how skinny the housings are. Anyone else notice the 6mm carbon apex seals it uses?! Some of the early 13B's in the RX-3s used that style exhaust port as well. All apex seals before 1973 were 6mm carbon.
