Okay, why do my turn signals flash faster now?
Alright, this may seem kind of jumbled but I'll try my best to keep it as accurate and understandable as possible. I actually have 3 questions on my mind, all relating to one another. Sort of.
First off, a bit of history. I just installed new projector style conversion headlights with an upgraded wiring harness. Now, during the last leg of the install, I was trying to find a place to put the power wires. This is where the problem solving begins. In my last post, I asked if I blew a fusible link, because I loosened the screw holding the main power wire into the links, and then I lost power throughout the car. Then, going back out and looking at everything, I found that I didn't tighten the screw all the way. I did that, I got power. I decided to put the power wires onto the positive battery terminal screw instead.
Now, my first question. After finishing everything up, I go to start my car. Car doesn't want to start, initially. : Accessory lights came on, but I go to turn it, it cranks over, kinda weird. Like a plug wire was loose. So, I get back out, check the engine and make sure my plug wires are good. Everything's fine, so I go back into the car, and proceed to crank the engine over. This time, it gives a tiny sputter every so often. Thinking it's about to turn out but needs more gas, I mash the gas pedal to the floor while I crank it. Sure enough, after a few more cranks, the engine picks up and sputters to life. Now, why did the engine do this? It must've been when all power was lost, but why? Something of the rotary engine I've just encountered for the first time?
Second question. Now, the car starts up fine, runs fine, no problem. But now, my turn signals flash a lot faster now. But, when I flip on the Hazard, they blink at their normal pace. What just caused for my turn signals to flash faster? During the small short of loss of power, did I end up shorting out part of the turn signal flasher?
Also, I can't remember now if when the turn signal flashes, it's supposed to completely black out and then turn on. I hope I made that make sense. Here's what I mean. On other cars, when your parking lights are on, you can tell. The first filament is enough to give a simple dim look. Then, when you flick on the turn signal, or 4-ways, the second filament in the bulb lights up to flash, and you can tell the difference, knowing when the parking lights are on and when the flash lights up. But, I can't really tell that with my current ordeal. Do the 1st Gens have it where when you flip on the parking lights and then the turn signal/4-ways, you can easily notice the parking light part (lit filament) before the second filament blinks on (brighter appearance)? Or, is it where there's just one filament in the bulb and it flashes as well as work as the parking light? Man, I hope I didn't confuse everyone with that description. I've tried my best to word that.
Third question. If I did cause a short to the flasher, I have a spare. However, for the life of me, I cannot locate the flasher under the dash. I hear it clicking, but can't located it. Can anyone tell me where it is?
I hope this was clear enough for everyone. If not, I can fill in any blanks I may have left out. Thanks for any help!

I checked my lights and they were all on, all the way around. But, to be on the safe side, I'll replace my front bumper lights. Thanks all.
BTW, the projector style conversion headlights are awesome, especially with the high beams on.

They may also be the way to get a true HID installed in our cars, with
the currect beam and cutoffs.

What I'm going to do first is remove my front bumper turn signal bulbs to see if they go back to normal. I took one of the lenses off and turns out that the parking light filament blinks now, instead of that second brighter one. I'm hoping that even tho the front bulbs won't be in, the turn signals will still operate like they should (no fast flashing).
I'll provide pics of the headlights with beam spread (Lo/Hi) this weekend for those that're interested.
