I am working on Saturday, but will be coming up on Sunday. Joe will hopefully be along as well. I still have some questions about the swap. Are we using the original motor's intake (ie manifold and carb) and if so, do you already have the gaskets for the switching that. and an exhaust manifold gasket is also a given. Just checking.
Catch ya later,
James
PS. Will need directions and phone number as the days grow closer. Shoot me a pm. Bye

By the way, this other motor is it a manual or auto? Just trying to determine if air power and a 3/4" impact is needed..

Since you have an Automatic right now, and the other engine is a Manual, you will have to swap the flywheels and/or counterweights to make it balance properly. (I don't recall if they 12A flywheels had the counterweight "built in" or if it was removable.

if you wanna remove the rests nest, just go to Auto Zone, in the "Help" section, and get a couple different sizes of vaccum caps. I'll bring a couple extras I have on Sunday.
