there is oil on the engine, and the engine 'misses' at light or no load.

is this a telltale sign of blown oil seals?

blown oil seals normally results in blue smoke coming out the Wazoo (tailpipe), pooling on the block indicates maybe a dowel o-ring is wisping a bit, or maybe the oil filter tower is leaking, but can also mean it's time for a rebuild... is the oil on the top of the engine, front housing?

the engine compartment is pretty grimey overall. it's hard to tell. it's only got about 100,000 miles on it....

anyways, it's the car i plan to buy and it doesnt smoke or anything. but it has been sitting for a while.

dammit, i wish i had a rotary expert to go car shopping with me.
