Me too..If its raining out, sometimes I'll just go sit in my GSL in the garage! I'll never, ever part with it (unless I can find a GSL-SE!!)

I'm with wam on this one. One of my goals is to have one of every major model (1 SA, 1 FB-GS [my current one], 1 FB-GSLSE, 1 S4 Hardtop, 1 S4 TII, 1 S4 'vert, 1 S5 Hardtop, 1 S5 TII, 1 S5 'vert, and 1 FD R1), all in silver (my '84 GS's color).

Yep.

I'll be happy with one of each:

13B-RE Turbo GSL-SE
20B Turbo FC Vert,
20B R2 FD.

That's all.

YES! Why wouldn't it be alright to be in love with your car? It's just like a girlfriend.... takes all your money and time, and in the end, usually leaves you with nothing but a good ride

I wouldn't get rid of my car... I have it since 3 months, and I didn't have the occasion to drive it a lot of time but it's my baby, my first car, and i'll keep it for a long time..
I would be happy with these:

My '83 Hunt green metallic
and my dad's 93 FD (maybe in two years Hooo sweet!)

Keep your cars in shape guys, they are like our babies..!

well, i don't know any of you guys personally, so i can't say what you have and have not been through with Rx-7s ... i know Directfreak is in the middle of a swap right now and from other threads, it sounds like he might have had similar experiences to my own over the years ...

anyway my point is this ... true love can only come after you've laid up on snow and ice to change a tranny, or busted up your knuckles to the point that your hand looks like Frankenstein's, or you stay up all night, 'til sun-up building your first motor, or when you pass up a piece of *** to fix your car (even if you kick yourself afterwards), or when you realize that every single day, you'd rather drive your Rx-7 instead of the NEW car, because it makes you feel just as good as the day you brought it home ... that's when you can talk about love!

Several times. Even when the car breaks down in a REAL BAD Neigborhood, and you need to get it running fast, because if you leave it overnoght, there will only be parts left of there.

True. I have several NEW cars to drive, and there's nothing like the rotary zing.
