yesterday i cut my muffler and all off soo its just headers and a peice of pipe about 2 foot long ...well it shot a flame out yesterday when some one was standing behide it and burnt the pants off of them i laugh they got mad>>>

A flame shot from half the length of your car (under the seats where the exhaust ends) out the back, burned the pants off your friend, and then you laughed at them while they where mad?

did you soak his pants in gas? Or maybe it was a destroyed pair that had threads hanging, and it burnt those!

Yeah, unless you just took off the muffler, and the pipes were still going all the way back to where the muffler once was, I'm calling BS on this one too.

but oh i see you only had 2feet of pipe off the header i doubt flames will reach the end of the car iv only seen flames up to 1foot or lil longer
unless your pipe was out the side of the car.....

i fired my 12a up with header only, and the flames were only 1 foot lenght MAX!!

haha i didnt make it. i remember seeing it on a different forum, they had it as part of their "smilies". I couldnt remember where it was, so i google'd the phrase, clicked images, and found it that way. Its kinda cool.

 

Longest flame I ever had was only 2 ft long. But I did have one come up and snige my leg hair when I was trying to tune my old FB with open header.

when my 12a streetport was running rich, and i was running headers, no presilencers, and a supertrapp with no end discs. road course track only. in addition to waking the dead, it shot 3 foot flames out the pipe when i let off the gas and hit the brakes. some people did not want to follow close behind me cause of it.

no one's pants got burned though

 

Not to doubt, but I like to see proof some days. I want to see a pick of the exhaust cut, with flames, and a pic of the pants. 3' flames are not unheard of, not easy to do though.

 

Even 3' wouldnt cut the mustard for this fish story.
