I did mine out of the car, but it seemed simple enough...Unbolt the old stuff, bolt the new one on. Maybe you could be more specific on which part you are having trouble with? What you have done so far, and what you think you need to do.

Are you sure you have the right header? i.e. 12A or 13B When I put mine on I started by bolting the header on the engine then hooking the rest of the exhaust up. I just put a new gasket on yesterday and it was a little morr difficult to line it up right but a little pushing and pulling did the trick. I also have a little more room without the stock carb and emissions crap.

I had clearance issues with the stud/hole alignment when I did mine (pace setter design but same theory). ended up enlarging all 4 holes to make it fit, but fit it finally did. Once it's on the rest should be pretty easy - just make sure the header fits before you try and attach everything else.

Headers ??? huh,,easy enough,, use the gasket and make sure everything aligns (studs)If the gasket doesn't match, spot-on to the engine, wrong headers.

dont you wish everything fit as well as it does on "Two-Guys Garage" or "Dream Car Garage" on speed channel? everything seems to just glide right into place no problem. lol

Yeah, lol I know. But in reality, my engine kinda "fell together" like that for once. I had it out on a stand, and just started with a bare block and started bolting everything on from there. Oil pan, resurfaced flywheel, clutch, bearings, intake manifold, header, carb, t-stat, t-stat housing, etc. It was nice to be like those damn shows where everything was brand spankin new and went all together .
