Smile OK guys, exhaust, twist my arm!!

If I go ahead on the RB website and order the header, pre-silencer, and powerpulse muffler bolt on system, is it worth it, and will I feel the difference? Right now I have the stock manifold and muffler, but a cat replacement pipe. Just want to hear some of your comments and opinions. Thanks!!!

exhaust is the most restrictive part. there is a night/day difference with just headers. no more hard 90* turn out of the block

it *will* be quieter??? I was thinking of not doing the exhaust right away because of the fact that I like my RX purring..... a soft, quiet sound.... As quiet as a kitten, but as fast as a panther, instead of sounding like a really big guy with gas (*coughciviccough*)

If the new exhaust does make it quieter, then I'm game!

Mine isn't quieter, but it isn't much louder either. Less whine, much deeper. Took me a few hours flyin around to get used to it.

Having heard Manntis's full RB exhaust and needing a clean pair of shorts afterwards, I whole-heartedly recommend buying the RB system.

Did you have this done? About how much did it cost you to have this bent?

I have never heard the stock exhaust with the cat replacement pipe, but all I can say is the the RB system is quieter than my burnt up fried cat stock system. I have a feeling its very close to what the car sounded like stock at an idle. Thats one thing I love about my car, even with the full intake and exhaust, my car still idles SOO quiet and sounds SOO stock. I scare the **** outta Hondas and **** when I rev it though, theyre just not expecting it . The intake and exhaust together make pretty music . My intake is actually louder than my exhaust. Basically, the exhaust is quiet for the most part, unless your flooring it through the gears, then it has a bit of a roar, but its nowhere near "pull me over" or "look at me Im a ricer" loud. Its what the car shouldve came stock sounding like .

Geez, and all this time I thought that widening the pipe would make everything so much louder! *whips out credit card.... frowns... puts it back* unfortunately, not currently having the finance to back up this purchase, I shall wait .... with baited breath no less!

The RB system is only quieter if you did not have a leak in your stock system; the leaks can cause some interesting sounds.

The RB system requires the removal of some stock pieces; ie. air pump. Also, it is recommended to install a double pulley and two new belts.
