Ok guys...AWESOME DEAL FOR ME!!

Ok, I think that this is a good deal for me... My dad bumped into a guy today and he claims to have a Holley carb, Racing Beat intake manifold, and an exhaust manifold (possibly Racing Beat also) that hes willing to sell to me for $200!! Im gonna buy this stuff (as long as its in good condition) even if its for the wrong years, cause i figure i can sell it and maybe make some money. He claims that the stuff is "brand new" and he never put it on cause he had to sell his car. Anyway, im guessing that if the intake manifold is Racing Beat, and the exhaust manifold is Racing Beat (possibly), wouldnt it make sense that he got the carb from Racing Beat as well? If so, what should I know about the Racing Beat carbs and what-not to know if i wanna keep it and install it (if it fits) or sell it?

hey, ill keep you in mind, cause i dont know what years or anything that its for, and i dont know what "exatcly" im getting. My dad just said that he remembered the carb, the intake manifold, and the exhaust manifold. he knows the carb is Holley, and the intake manifold is RB, but hes not sure if the exhaust is RB or not...and like i said, i dont know exatly what im getting or the condition im getting it in, other than the guy says its new and never installed on HIS car...but you never know. ill keep you guys posted on whats up. i should know more tomorrow after i talk to him

Oh, hey guys, if this stuff fits, i know that im gonna need a different fuel pump and regulator for the carb right? Well does anyone know where i can get this CHEAP? Preferably a new one or maybe one that one of you dont need anymore or something. Also, how hard is it to swap fuel pumps? Do i have to drop the tank? And where is a good place to mount the regulator? Thanks

Unhappy PLEASE answer these...

Ok, horrible thought!! If this stuff does fit on the car, and I decide to install it, what all will I loose as far as emissions stuff? I dont know how to remove it all, and to be honest im not sure I would even want to try. Is it possible to get the car to pass emissions in WA with the Holley carb and RB intake/exhaust manifolds? Ive never run though emissions before (never had to, I dont drive)so I dont know what all they do...Anyway, should I do it or not? Im kinda worried about doing this as I dont want to destroy the car, and rip it all apart. I just want to make it run "better" . If it was a "simple" process of taking off stock intake and carb and replacing with this stuff id do it, but if I have to worry about vaccuum lines and what not...I dunno. Also, with the exhaust header, is that a straight bolt on, or do I have to take it to a shop and have it "fitted" to the car? And even if it is a straight bolt on, do i need any block off plates and what not? Does it eliminate anything? Sorry this is so much info, i just started having all these thoughts all of a sudden...

None of it is gonna be a straight bolt on. It will take a little work to get it all right.
