So, RB presilencers are $130 each and weight a lot. What do you think of buying glasspacks, then opening them up and replacing the glass with stainless steel wool then welding them closed again.

Let’s see that’s $15 for the glasspack and $10 for the stainless wool, and an hour of time. Lighter, cheaper, (ok, maybe louder).

Ok, so I know they would not last as long and they could look a bit rough. But, they would be lighter and cheaper.
