Oilll Innnn Exhausttttt? (FUCCCCCK YOU PROXY ERROR I WILL WIN)

Well,

After ******* putting my thunderbird back together and jumping off the RX7 with a lot of spark plug changing it finally starts, now, the white smoke was so bad my neighbor stayed in his car until it cleared! HAHA

Now, second issue, in the process I'm telling you at least 1/4 of a quart of oil came out of the exhaust through the big *** exhaust leak on the muffeler...what the ****?

Yeah,

Does it still inject oil if you make the bar stop moving with the throttle bar (i.e. disable the omp).

I think I'm going to go back to pre-mixing, if it stops the flooding it's well worth it imo.

It was flooded HELLA bad, I had to change the spark plugs every three or four turns because they were literally full of fuel, like I could take the spark plug upside down and fuel would trickle out.

Some tips for the GSL-SE’rs;

1) If it’s flooded, and the spark plugs are doused in fuel (as per my step dad told me) take the spark plugs out and put them on the wires and ground them out and it will burn off the excess fuel instead of just drying it off.

Yea you can do that but be carefull its very dangerous as FIRE is the effect of burning the fuel off the sparkplug you are holding in your hand

You kidding me, I laid that plug against the body and grounded it out, I've learned my lesson of touching wires when the car's running.

Try that with a Blaster coil and an MSD 6AL ignition box.

I've got PS20 Fireball coils, plenty enough to make my finger hurt for a week.

O.K.

PLEASE DO NOT GROUND PLUGS AGAINST THE BODY TO "CLEAN" THEM

If your car is flooded, or even if it is not, and you crank the motor with the plugs out, a fine mist of fuel will spray out of the spark plug hole with each compression stroke. This fine mist of fuel will be in the vicinity of the sparking plug that you, or an assistant, is likely holding in their hand.

INEVITIBLE CONCLUSION: Fairly large explosion, followed by engine fire.

Ask me how I know.

SO: DO NOT CRANK ENGINE WITH SPARK PLUGS REMOVED WITHOUT DISABLING THE SPARK!!!

haha one time one of my spark plugs came off while driving the car, and was hanging from its cable. You don't wanna know what kind of noise that makes at 5k rpm.

Well,

I had no assistant, I was just checking to make sure there was spark.

Feds, not trying to start a fight or anything but I do have some questions;

If it'll explode like so, then the poor mans compression test would apparently explode to wouldn’t it?

I fixed my problem, apparently you're supposed to do trailing BEFORE leading, because if you adjust leading first then it messes with the trailing and so I went out and adjusted mine today and it does so much better, no more wall and it's right on the marks (red/yellow).

So, just goes to show you the stupidest things can make your car screw up!

No worries about the fight, but disconnecting your plugs, and letting them hang by the plug wires without disconnecting the coil is a recepie for disaster.

For the poor man's compression test, you should remove the leads at the cap (good) or the coil (better) or unplug the coil ground (best)

Your timing problem illustrates the benefits of reading the service procedures in the Factory Service Manual.

Yeah,

The haynes manual was off, I used the FSM to set it right.

I'm still having a problem with starting it, I have to floor it to start it, if I don't it won't start, just spin.
