oil pump and 2 stroke in the tank 83 Rx

I read some posts about adding 2 stroke oil to the tank and disconnecting the Carb oil lines. I'm feeling lazy, so I added 2 stroke to the tank and did nothing to the stock carb oil lines.
( Ist time I have filled the fuel tank to the top since dragging it home on a rope the day I bought it), (Also drove in the dark 1st time last night, love those headlights!!))
Now my little RX7 is getting lots wear protection. or am I? SC

1 oz. Per Gallon right?
Supposedly, yes you should be.

I have a different setup than either,
But, I don't see a problem with premix, or the stock OMP. Nice thing about premix is no smoke. I'm 50/50, I don't mind the smoke but then again,

I was distracted by the Woman pumping gas next to me and may have miss read the 2 stroke mix . SC
