Oil Pressure Sender thread size

Hi all,

Trying to find an oil source for my turbo on my 85 12A. Thought I'd install a T using the oil pressure sender hole which I thought was 1/8". I think it might be metric and just slightly smaller than 1/8" because that size fitting just won't engage. Anybody know the specs, or is it a weird thread pitch?

Or better yet is there an easier way to get oil to the turbo. I'm running the oil in series through a front mounted oil cooler (still keeping stock beehive) with the thermostatic bypass rigged shut to minimize oil temperature before it hits the turbo bearings.

BSP 28, I think. Typical aftermarket guages use NPT 27 which is a little bit bigger.

Yep a 1/8 - 28 BSP (British Standard Pipe) thread. There are conversion fittings you can buy. I had a post a while back that listed one maker--search for it.
