Oil pressure guage question

Is this the wire to the oil pressure guage sending unit?

is this what it's supposed to be plugged into?

the oil pressure sensor is on the rear housing under the oil filter next to the temp sensor. a single wire will plug on to the oil sensor.

The one you are holding in the bottom picture should slide onto the back of the OEM pressure gauge.

No cause i no longer have the stock gauge and sender lol. the part your hand is holding is the actual clip. It should slide right over the back of the sender in the rear iron right under the oil filter

Hey Joe, if that's on the 83 then it doesn't have a factory pressure sender. 79's never came with them. You would need to get a pedastil from RB or somewhere and use an aftermarket gauge. That's the only thing I didn't like about the 79 motor.
