oil pressure gauge question

does your oil pressure gauge work when is close to 10 degree out? mine wasnt working today and i dont know it isa a common problem thanks

Only been down to 28 degrees so far here in the Metroplex, but the gauge has had no problem...

oil pressure guage

Was the oil just changed. If someone does a sloppy job changing the filter, see owners manual, here's the procedure. 1 remove drain plug. 2 punch small hole in top of filter with screwdriver. 33 Wrap clean rag around base of oil filter and carefully catch oil) and oil runs down over the oil cooler it can get into the oil pressure sending unit right below the oil cooler(under the filter) and really mess up oil readings. The solution is to just clean everything with degreaser or electrical parts cleaner.

is all clean this is a new engine and i had the sending unid clean and all the wire too. theres pressure i know beacuse i already chech it with a regular gauge. i just think that the sending unid just died
