Just use a 1/8" npt fitting like I told you originally.

Use either a fitting with male threads one side and female on the other, or a male and female nipple screwed together to give you the lenght you need.

I used a 1/8 npt fitting for my mechanical OP gauge, worked fine. I used teflon tape to make sure it stays sealed.

Be careful of brass bits if you force an NPT fitting into a BSP hole.

I am going to use this For Oil Pressure and Temp. A little bit higher than the RB plate but should look much better.

Yes, make a good ground near the sender.

Probably. If you used teflon tape, its probably insulating the sender from making a good ground. Wrap a bare wire around the sensor and ground it. See if that works.

ok, now where did people tap in to make the gauges light up when the other lights come on. i have the wire clip off that goes to the control switch for the headlights. how do i figure out which one will power my gauges? you guys rock! time to ground my sender. does it matter what kind of wire i use going from the sender to the guage?

The way I understand aftermarket electric guages is there are three wires or connectors on the back. One gets +12V when the key is on. One goes to chassis ground. The one marked S goes to the sensor. There's also probably a lightbulb which goes to the dashlights so the dimmer adjusts the brightness of the guage bulb along with the dash lights.
