oil leak

Well i finally got the front end up in the air and started the process of finding my oil leak. I started at the front of the motor because it looked wet around the OMP and the fan has a bunch of grud on the fins. I assumed the leak was in the front of the motor because it looked like the fan was blowing everything backwards.
I cleaned all around the OMP and oil pan with brake cleaner and wipe dry. I then took it for a little drive around the block, pulled in the garage and within about 5 minutes i had a puddle of oil on the floor. Up in the air again, the front was till dry and found that oil is collecting around the rubber plug and dripping from there. I took a couple of pics and it looks like maybe the rear seal. Can one of you experts look at the pics and tell if it is rear seal?

If there is no oil mess at the back of the oil pan or dripping from above say near the oil pressure sender or the oil fitler pedastel. Then it has to be coming out of the back of the engine.
Verify it is oil and not gear oil.
Pull the plug out of there and shine a flashlight in there.
If it is oil then it's the rear main seal.

Thanks Doc, it's a little wet around the filter pedastel but nothing seems to be leaking up there or within site like this leak . this just seems to be running down the red circled area to the plug. you can see two or three drops on the plug dripping when i pull in the garage and shutter off.
I'll pull the plug agian and use a lite.
I read earlier thread on replacing clutch on a 85gsl/se. you mentioned rear engine seal.
is it same operation minus clutch?

Sorry, I just relooked at your picture. If it is coming from that circled area and down then it is not the engine seal. The seal would not have oil that high. That is either the oil pressure sender or oil pedastel o'rings.
