oil leak

hey guys, on my 84GSL i noticed last year about a oil leaking happening. It is a fairly slow leak, usually takes a few weeks to see a noticable decline in the engine oil.. and if u look by the engine and underneath there is oil everywhere.. what is the most typical oil leaks on the first gens? by the way mine only has 125 k's on it.. if that helps

The two o-rings under the water-cooled oil cooler could be causing an oil leak. Pop the hood and inspect the oil cooler for any oil underneath. It's a pretty common problem. The same thing happened to my '85 around 120k miles - I've got the receipt from the original owner.

take it to the car wash and clean it up real good. put bags and tape over stuff like your dizzy and other important electronics, then spray away with engine degreaser and get it pretty clean. then wait and see for yourself where the leak is coming from
