Oil Gauge doesn't work.

Well since I got my car fired up I haven't had my oil pressure gauge working. It's a bit of a concern when the motor is new and you are curious about that kind of thing. From my FC days I seem to remember there is supposed to be some sort of ground wire bolted to the chassis that hooks to the engine harness (I believe it was to the trailing coil). Is this the same for the FB? 85 GS, thanks.

No it does not have the same thing as the FC.

Just the one wire to the sender unit.

The oil sending unit is under the beehive oil cooler(under oil filter). Make sure the wire connector is on it.

The actual gauge is horribly inaccurate as well. As long as mine moves I am happy for the most part.
