Oil Gas Mixture?

Hi Guys,

This is a 2 parter, first off, does n e one have any good pics of the rod that connects the oil metering pump to the intakes on a carburated 86 (i know its "2nd generation" but its Carbed so i figured some one here may know more about it) RX7 engine? and second of all. has n e one heard of or ever used Oil mixed in with thier pump gas, and if so what is the ratio? thanks in advance.

I usually put a cap full of oil in with a tank of gas just to be sure. 2 cycle oil I think, I would have to look to be sure, I am old and don't remember.I jsut keep it behind my seat. I think if you go to the FAQ you will find your answer to this one.

I premix oil for my 88. the metering oil pump is totally removed. The ratio that I run is 100 to 1. 1oz. of HIGH QUALITY 2 cycle oil per gallon. I keep a 16oz. bottle in my car. half a bottle for 8 gallons of gas.

I mix at 1oz to 1 gallon.
