Oil cooler mounts, need some.

I can't seem to find replacement oil cooler mounts. The ones that hang off the radiator. They've seperated. My parts car is the same way. Does anybody know where I can get new ones or modified ones (solid)????

Here you go! Looks like they are about $50 for the pair. The oil cooler mounts are listed halfway down the page....

Are those bolt on? I have discovered my oil cooler is detached as well. But I think my car has some kind of aftermartket radiator.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that they bolt on.

Wacky, LOL, I have absolutely no clue what on earth you are talking about. By plumbers tape do you mean this kinda thing?

Although teflon tape would work nicely for attaching a FMOC.

I also thought Wacky was talking about teflon tape. I was beginning to think that he's been hitting the heines a bit too hard this morning.

If you want to go cheapo, make them. Buy a yard of aluminum (the stuff thats got a 90 degree bend the whole way) and a pair of exhaust clamps (don't remember what size). Cut the aluminum to the length you need and drill holes in it so you can bolt it to the cooler, and then more holes so you can use the exhaust clamps to attach it to the round bar in front of the radiator.

I got this idea from someone else, don't remember who though. Take credit where credits due.

Yessir, it sure was. I used his writeup for mounting my FMOC, and it worked great. It was the second time that I have done the FMOC swap, but this time it was way easier thanks to the writeup. The mounts that I made are very solid, and do a nice job of locating the cooler where it will catch plenty of air.
