Oil cooler issue.

HEY!
so i have a huge problem
i have a date tomorrow because i should have had my car fixed by now but i have a hitch

i was replacing the o seals of the oil cooler of my 1985 RX7 GSL
after removing the mounting piece and the banjo bolt i found the last owner had broken the mounting piece and teh bolt and rendered them completely useless

so i ordered a new oil cooler unit from APEX auto parts, as well as a new bolt.
i got all the parts today and when i went to thread the banjo bolt into the mounting part and it wouldnt work

the threads inside the mounting piece stop too soon and the bolt stops at teh end of the threads and sticks half way out. therefore not screwing all the way and allowing the oil to spray everywhere.

the bolt is a regular banjo bolt, hollow inside, with 2 holes on either side. the holes are on the upper half closer to the head of the bolt, and the threads are the opposite, i believe they should be the opposite of what they are.

i need to know if the bolt is correct and i dont know how to properly insert the bolt, or if the bolt is incorrect, and i just need to go by a new one.

i cant drive my car with no oil and need my car for tomorrow!!!! please someone, anyone help me!!!!
