Oil change/fuel tank dump after 6 months sitting?

Hello I changed my rx7's oil 6 months ago before I let it sit for half a year while I rebuilt the carburetor. Everything checks out and I'm going to try starting it in the morning if it's safe given that the new oil and fuel has sat for so long.

I would worry more about the fuel than the oil. If you can without alot of trouble I would drain or siphon out the gas and start with fresh, especially since you are starting the newly rebuilt carb for the first time. If you have issues with it not running right you will not have to wonder if its the fuel or the carb.

Well I started it up. It only holds an idle when the choke is closed which is the same problem I had before rebuilding the carb. There is also lots of white smoke coming out the exhaust.

The throttle isn't very responsive while revving to keep it from dying when the choke is open as well.
With the choke closed I'm idling at what seems to be 500.
For a while the whole engine was shaking so much that my shifter was moving back and forth almost an entire inch.
My next steps for next weekend are to replace the spark plugs and distributor cap and to adjust the idle speed screw. I'm also strongly considering siphoning out all the 6 month old fuel because I'm positive that's not helping my situation now.

Does anyone have any input?

Here's a video of the idle and it dying once I open the choke.

That sounds like one rotor. Could be a bad spark plug.

After taking a break for dinner I tried starting it and couldn't get it to hold an idle even with the choke closed. It would start after pumping the gas but would die even with continued pumping. There was also a screech coming from the engine bay every few cycles but I couldn't pinpoint where exactly because I couldn't leave the drivers seat. Should I even attempt to fix this? I'm afraid my engine will need a rebuild and I don't have time for that. One of my friends is selling his 12a and tranny though so that might be cheaper than a rebuild kit.

Anyways... Here's the smoke

I have replacement spark plugs that I'm going to put in this coming weekend, but I'm certain I flooded the hell out of the engine because I didn't let it run long enough...

I may change the oil after "unflooding" the engine too. I'm unsure of what order to do things in though but my gut is currently telling me to replace the spark plugs before unflooding it.
