how often should i change my oil at how many miles??

 

recomended is 3000-5000

 

I would not o it over 3000,but you have to remeber,

A rotary engine CONSUMES oil,abotu 1 qt ever 1000 miles andpending on oil leaks...so keep checking

 

Just want to eco what sorrow said ... the two quickest ways to kill a rotary are to 1) run it out of oil and 2) overheat it --

Oil changes at 3K (and checking the level every time you fill up) are cheap insurance.

 

lol ... ain't that the truth

my now leak free engine consumes roughly 1 qt every 2k-2.5k miles

 

grrr i hate oil leaks
u fix one and then other appears

 

The consumption rate depends on how hard you drive the car, since the oil metering pump linkage is connected to the throttle.
