Thumbs up Officially a RX7 owner as of today...

Well I finally got my rx7 today. Now I have to do a pile of work to it. Mainly a clutch..... makes me a little nervous.... never done one b4 really. But this should be a fun car, I've driven it around from place to place, just a little, and its a blast. I put it sideways a little bit turning onto a gravel road not really something I can do in a front wheel drive that I have been driving, well I can I guess, but its just not the same. Anyways, just thought I would share.

cool...avoid red blazers...that's all I can say...there's just something about red blazers that pulls RX7's into them...

Any large, red trucks for that matter. My belief is that the buyer who goes out to buy a large, red truck is a closet, wannabe fireman and is out for himself and no-one else. Seems like the most discourteous drivers on the roads drive big, red trucks. The bigger the truck, the bigger the...

Well, you get the point.

Welcome to the owner community, and the forums. Clutch work is pretty easy as long as you have the parts. Be sure to get genuine Mazda clutch disks or quality aftermarket parts, as most clutch manufacturers are not building their clutches to spin at 7-8k rpm - poor quality will result in damage to your clutch, possibly your tranny, and possibly your engine and car.

Congrats! I'm on my 5th RX. Though I may occassionally stray to feed my "something new" addiction, I keep coming back... I think they're one of the most fun, rewarding and unique cars you can own.
