I beleive I have a problem with my 84 GSLSE, when I last drove it (2ish weeks ago now) there was a clanking sound from the front of the motor. Drove straight home, shut it off and haven't driven it.

Today, I start it up (beautiful day out, wanted to cruise) and it's there again. From the front of the motor. Oil pressure is good, but does anyone know what this might be? Water pump or something? It's really bothering me.

It's a clanking sound that comes around when it's under load. At idle there is no sound. Whenever I rev, there's the clanking again. Once it returns to idle, it will stay for a few seconds then disappear.

Please help, as I love this car!! Thank you! I'm at a loss to what it may be.
