Ok this is for the people who don't know to ask they're questions.
Ok now I was wondering about something for awhile now. Would there be any reason to put some hold down pins on the hood? Now I'm talking about up closer to the windshield, not closer to the bumper.
On another note, got the new bumper installed and damn s all I have to say. Sounds so nice. Not like AAHH!! Like the last bumper but rrrrrrmmmm. And the other muffler I kept onto and am gonna rip apart if the kid doesn't want it who I told I'd give to. Hey it's split in half.

Speaking of silly questions, I had a friend the other day try to say that I didn't have to worry about locking my doors because "nobody knows how to hotwire a rotary engine anyway"
Silly Ray, what a nut he is sometimes.

I remember getting into a fist fight with a friend because he didn't beleive that an engine could run without pistons +_+

No need for pins. I've had my car up to 120 with the hood not even latched
It lifts up about 2"-3" at most, and won't go any higher than that. If it's latched the corners near the windshield will shake a bit, but I've had it up to 160 and it was fine.

Hood pins are normally used for rear hinged cars. At high speeds, the hoods tended to lift off the car. I suppose enough pressure COULD build up underneath the hood, but not likely. Just put in vents like the Z06 uses behind the wheels, that'll lower the underhood pressure, and drop the temp down a bit too.
