demonspawn paying close attention to your posts,
i deduce your transporter truck needs a radiator....
that you didnt want to spend $50 on a front cover to do your conversion
and now you want to spend $1000.00 on a steering system, for a car that doesnt drive, so you can drive it around in your radiatorless truck??????

Apparently you know everything right?? I bet when you throw out an idea its never ever short of genius. I hope when you ask for help if you ever need it that everyone you look to treats you like an inferior idiot who knows nothing and calls you names and tells you how to run your life. Stop being such a jerk and worry about your own ****! If you can't post your opinion without freeking out then just shut up!

Dude... drop the attitude. You were the one coming in here trying to stir things up in the first place. DemonSpawn's question was a legitimate one of interest to some of the members on this forum. If it's not of interest to you, then move along.

Triple post FTW lol. But yea I agree lets keep the first gen section calm like it usually is... and the Re-speed kit is nice (I have it on both my FB's) but it is a lot of money to drop all at once, no harm in searching for other alternatives, although you'll probably end up buying it anyway haha.

It was a project, but what isn't with these cars when you have to make parts yourself to save money? Honestly the swap was pretty straight forward, granted I'm not finished yet, the subframe and steering are done.
You're project is something I've been watching with great intrest.

I want to hear your results on test driving the new subframe before I make any considerations into putting one in, but so far that looks like a very good set-up! Keep it up.

Anyways, sorry about the pictures not appearing, I didn't hit up the junkyard this weekend, was raining too hard. I have been talking with the Parts Guy in our Dealership and amd looking to get a new one with lifetime warranty for cheap...

BUT!

There is a guy that's in my welding class that owns a AE86 GTS, so I will ask him if he minds me putting the car up on one of the school racks and taking pictures for you guys.

In case it hasn't been said, if you are refering to Hugh Laurie (from House M.D.), he is from oxford which is in England, which is on a different continent AND hemisphere than oz..

Im pretty sure other people have thought of this and yet there are still very few decent solutions, for a reason.

Personaly, I think we need to start supporting Billy a bit more as he puts alot of money and time into R&D for some excellent products.

I actually came in here tryin to help, make a suggestion....
and ended up stirring ****.....sorry!!!
Maybe i was a bit harsh, but i stand by the fact, the idea of trying to fit a datsun Z rack is fundamentally flawed

Mrak:
aussies suffering tall poppy syndrome...that means there would have to be something better than us....lol

Zaridar:
I know almost everything!!!!!
My ideas are mostly genius!!!!
The ones that arent genius are carefully considered and highly thought about,
so when asking others for advice i dont sound like a dick!!!!
Im not freaking out sounds like you have... triple "thank you"posts n all
Im still waiting for some technical input, not an emotional one!!!!!

Doh, Read somewhere he was an Aussie... oh well. My mistake, still love him...

As for supporting Billy, I'm not trying to detract from the guy, hell I bought an ReSpeed Bushing kit for the Suspension because I know they are a great product.

Okay, so obviously the 280z is usless, I'll look into the AE86 and see what i can dig up on that...

I get the feeling Yellow S2 Rx7 13BT's posts would be better understood in person. His posting style just make him seem aggressive.

Sorry to post off-topic.

It's possible. It's hard to tell intent over the Internet. And the info about the 929 is good to know.

Anyway, I love Billy's products, and I plan on ordering a ton of suspension crap from him over the coming years. I just don't think I'll have room for a steering rack in front of the crossmember, so I need to explore other options.
