O2 Sensor

My 85 GSLSE has about 250,000 miles and I assume I probably need a new O2 sensor since I've never changed it out. Is there an aftermarket available that is cheaper than Mazdatrix. They want $207 for one. That sounds a bit high.

Not for nothing, but have you called your local Mazda dealer and asked what they charge for one, if it's available? Generally speaking, any emissions/electronic component that is original equipment is going to last longer, and is going to "work better" than aftermarket stuff. Not always, but most of the time...

Oh, and before you replace it at that $207 price, I would see if there is some way for a shop to hook a scanner up to the car and physically check the O2 sensor to see if it's doing the Rich/Lean dance that it's supposed to.I'm not sure ,as I have next to no RX7 specific experience
