not runining at idle

Hey i have a 82 car with a 85 motor. its starts fine and runs good above 2500 but as soon as i go to let it idle or run below that it stalls and quits on me. It also makes a sound like its mistimed but only at low rpms. just curious if anyone has some sugggestions as to wat mite cause this.

is it a 12a or 13b?? i dont have much self experience on a 13b but if its a 12a check ALL ur vaccum lines and make sure their plugged in. and check ur idle adjustment too.

Change the hose outlined in red. All your troublus will go away.
I wouldn't do it while the engine is hot though.

you need to make sure you are free of vaccume leaks. start there. hten you may want to check the condition of your fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor./ just make sure the basics are in line.

Before any of that but after the vacuum leak check I'd check timing.
