OK another problem, this car is fast wearing me out, and i haven't even driven it yet.
I've read the FAQs and had a look through the threads but i can't find anything to help.
The battery isn't getting any charge at all and the Gen light stays on the dash all the time, so far i have fitted a new battery and new alternator but it's just the same,i tested the regulator as the manual suggested and that showed it to be working ok, theres 11.7 volts going into the alternator and theres 11.7 volts at the regulator but thats just whats coming out of the battery there is no charge at all. There is a 4 pin plug that goes into the back of the alternator with 3 wires coming from it, a white, a white & black and a black & yellow.
Can anyone suggest what the hell it might be? every time i have to order something for this i have to get it shipped from the U.S which is costing me a fortune, i had to pay $80 for shipping alone just for the alternator and this is after a long list of other problems, if i can get this done i might actually get to drive it, if not i think i might just crush it into a very small cube and use it as a paper weight.
