Not Another Guage Problem!!!

Im getting fed up!! I installed Silver Faces Guages and first i the RPM Guages was off... Now.. I took it on my first drive since the guages have been installed, and the speedometer wont exceed 70 MPH and it will stick at 70 MPH when i slow down.. It will eventually drop down past 70 MPH after a few minutes... Whats going on? Rotary-Rex

Are you needles binding on anything? double check your installation and make sure the needles can go through the full range of motion without binding anywhere.

Bad speedo cable is always a looming threat. Might want to try detaching it at the tranny and manually moving the piece inside the shell (while still attached to the cluster). Could just need a good cleaning a lube.

Don't break anything.

If you didn't fix the tach needle problem, you can fix it by pushing it to its the stop and then push JUST a little more, it will slip on the post and go past the stop. You then just do this to the left or right until it sits on zero again...
