Noob exhaust/airpump/acv post

Ok so I've searching/ planning on exhaust and air pump removal on the SE im looking at the racing beat system and it looks like ill need a acv block off plate also correct? Any help is welcome or if im missing anything, may need a double alt. pulley.

yeah, if you pull off the air pump, you should pull of the ACV too. keep em, or sell em to someone in CA, the car will never pass smog without.

How is idle/ runability effected on a SE with the acv removed? Also I still need to get out and take a good look at what all needs to be plugged after removal of the air plug unless someone has a good write up

The RB kit comes with most of what you need. I left the split air pipe hooked up to the LIM to support the 6 port act.line. Under lite acceleration it seems to lean out a little between 3500 to 4000 RPM. Smash it to the floor, max accel the car screams. You diffinently want the double pulley, it was quite easy to slip the belt in the upper RPMs My idle was low after install, had to turn the idle air screw all the way out. All worth it! Car just launches into traffic!

i forgot, when you pull off the ACV/airpump you should go thru the FSM (Foxed.ca) and readjust the idle. without the air pump air the idle will be rich
