Non-LSD rear end fluid

Just a quick post, since everyone's tired of seeing that old LSD-thread brought up and nobody reads it anymore.

My question is what should I use for gear oil in my Non-LSD rear end? I found this at summit racing, it says for "non-limited-slip transaxels that use a 90W oil"
I have no clue if my non-LSD rear uses a 90W oil... I've never changed it before... and the Heynes states it as "API Service GL4" whateverthehell that is!

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=RED%2D58304

Is it what I need? If so, I'm ordering two bottles pronto! If not, can someone direct me to what I'm looking for so we can let this thread fade into nonexistance, or fill it with all the fluid info you'd ever need and archive it!

Jon

"straight 90w" as in generic parts-store 90w
or the 90w that I have posted?

I use the Canadian Tire full synthetic 75w90 stuff.... comes in the gold bottle. It's easier to find and cheaper than Redline.

Andy,

Thanks for posting exactly what I need! I couldn't have asked for a better, more specific, or easier description of exactly what I have to get. Store, bottle colour and everything!

Thanks!, now let's let this fade into nonexistance
