ok I don't know how many people remember about my tranny ******* up but heres what is going on. I'm going to repalce the hydraulics and pilot bearing. Now I have a really bad noise it's like a squealing noise in 5th. Like a really loud squealing. If can give any info on this problem please do. THanks guys.

I have been struggling with tranny noise in my car. It makes noise in first and second, and goes away in third. It was the input shaft. I don't know if that helps, but now that I have put the third tranny in the noise is gone (for awhile).

Ya I feel the same way...
And then I take it out on the track and let it go;
then it all comes back to me.
There is just nothing like a fire breathing first gen!

Im with ya all... I need to rebuild my tranny. Replacing it would be no problem, if I had not spent the time POLISHING THE HOLE DAMNED THANG! Replacing it with one that is not polished, well, I just cant seem to do it.....
