Angry no transmission fluid in my tranny!!!!

Ok i had just bought this 83 rx7 and been fixing her up little by little. Recently ive asked everyone how take out the transmission because the dam car won't go into reverse. Well when i got started on it, I went to take off the drain plug from the tranny to drain her and not a drop came out of her. Do you think this why it won't go into reverse and the noise that i was hear from the tranny?????

Its possible. You could always try putting oil in it and seeing it that fixes your proble .

Will it go in reverse easily when the engine is not running?

With no lube I'm suprised it was easy to get into any gear.

the car won't go into reverse even while it's off. So im maybe hoping thats why it never went in because of no tranny fluid.

We can't work miracles on this forum, you have to do a little bit on your own. If there's no gear oil in the transmission, then put some in, how obvious could it be? What will your next post be "there's no oil in my pan, do you know why my motor seized up?" Use some common sense.

The real question should be:Where did this gear oil go to in the first place. It doesn't just vanish unless you have a leak.
