no power in walbro pump?

Question no power in walbro pump?

any one have had an experience with a external walbro not pumping? could it be the wires tried looking for a fuel pump fuse but i dont think i have one . i have a gsl , what should i check for ?

no really, there should be a good ground. the other wire is power.

you didnt say what year your car is, the 79-83's work right off the key, dunno about a fuse, there might be one

the 84-85's work like this; trailing ignitor-> rpm signal->emissions control unit-> fuel pump relay-> fuel pump. 84-85's have a fuse somewhere

fuse doesnt say fuel pump, its like engine or something

84 and 85's have bad grounds... I did an upgrade and the fuel pump wouldn't turn on. Traced it back and put on a new ground and has been working great since.

i was checking the fuse box today and i did see the engine but not fuel pump . but fuse seems to be ok .

The engine fuse in the S3s power the pump. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it is. The relay can fail, but that's rare. Dig out the wiring diagram and start checking for continuity.

Checking for continuity on a a relay?? It needs a 12V plus 12V coming from the ECU for the contactors to close.
