msd green to dizzy red (-)

msd purple to dizzy green (+)

orange to coil (+)

thin black to coil (-)

thin red = this is your ON/OFF switch. If voltage is present, it will turn-on the MSD. So connect this to the orig white/black wire which was originally connected
to the leading coils (+) terminal.

thick red = battery (+)

thick black = good ground

Im going from memory so double check please. also, do a search on my post about gutted ignitor. so you can just use female connectors to connect the green and purple wires.

maybe ill get lucky and my ground will just be bad. I used my switched power source as my trailing ignitor positive its switched so taht should be ok correct? Also another question, i used my voltmeter and my leading coil isnt getting any power on orange wire so that means something isnt right with my power going to my msd right? The purple/green wire wont affect power going to my coil will it? If not that narrows down 1 area. Tomorrow i will check my ground

Try bypassing the MSD; it may have died. I had one crap out after about two weeks of use and have never trusted them since.

you can also hook then thin red to the battery, then put a jumper between the purple and green msd wires, and when you un-short then you will get a spark, so just take the plug wire off and set it on the strut tower or somthing. that will make sure the box works.

also. check the ohms between the pickupwires should be around 600 ohms +/- 200 or so. and then check for continutiy between the conctions ( the plug went bad on me once.)

carl.
