ok. in short: the car wont idle. BG Road Demon Jr 525 cfm carb, RB Int Man + Headers to 2 1/4" exhaust, RA OMP Adapter en route from fla, no rats nest, no accessories (no a/c, p/s, etc) bought the car non running, it runs (sort of) now, i can walk into the garage crank it up- although it does take a minute- and drive it, but it wont idle. new plugs, new wires, it just wont stay running unless i keep giving it gas, also of note- it must be alot of throttle, partial throttle does nothing either, it spits and sputters til it dies, i jetted the carb down to a #57 in the primaries, same jets as holley. please help!!! any ideas??? ive run out of things that i can think of...and getting frustrated.

I fixed the problem by reinstalling my stock Nikki, just a thought. And no, you can't have your silver one back.

Seriously Mr. fb, when you use non-stock stuff, the ball is in your court to figure out how to make it work. I just went through this with a "stripped Nikki" and I lost the battle. Hopefully the wise folks on this column will lead you to a happier conclusion.

If you get it running cruise on out here to Jefferson and visit your old car!
