No electricity to anything

Hello, I just bought an 85 GS yesterday. car ran great, untill today. Now the only thing that works are the brights, only if i pull the wand back. nothing happens if i turn key to on, or anything. Messed with fusible links before this, and put them all back in. There was also speaker wire that the previous owner had wired onto both the positive & negative termanials. Please help, I have a local rotary meet, a big one, here in 2 days, and would love for the car to be there. thank yhou!

ok, i solved the problem. one of the fusible links, the Main (controls power to entire car) was loose, so a little wiggling & the conection is back in tact. Thanks for you patience, cya
