nikki to weber

Alright guys, i need some detailed instructions on how exactly to swap from a nikki carb to a weber. i need to know what to do with the choke cables and what to do with the electrical connections and all of that stuff that will not be used with the weber. all input on this matter will greatly help. thanks

Depends on the Weber, some have chokes, some don't. You should do the rats nest removal prior to install, link is in the FAQs, as none of that will be needed anymore. Fuel pump needs to be upgraded, fuel pressure regulator added and if you don't have headers and the cats removed, that should be done 1st.

Choke cable can be tied out of the way if your carb doesn't have one, as far as the electrical, you can depin it from the main connector or tie it all out of the way.

thanks trochoid, i just have one question though, what is a rats nest. also your links are not up there anymore.

The 1st gen FAQ has alot of info that you might find interesting, including factory manuals, removing the rats nest, performance, engine/tranny swaps...You should check it out.
