Nikki Jets to Holley Jets? Worth it?
Hello,
I'm having some carb issues.... or questions.
I have a Nikki Carb that will needs to be tuned to match the SP engine I've got (12a)
I would like to have holley jets fit in the carb to make tuning easier/cheaper.
Is this something I can do Or should I have it done at a carb shop?
Is it worth doing?

love the braaaap
You should just order a Sterling Carb. PM sterling on the forums and he can give you more info, as he is the designer of the carb. Basically its a modified Nikki to provide about the same airflow as a 465cfm holley. It already uses holley jets, so its easy and cheap to tune. Also, the stock Nikki isn't nearly big enough to supply a SP 12A engine. Just some food for thought.

Yeah... that's what I'm thinking....
I guess it's just my budget that's a deciding factor for now.
But I bought a carb from wacky racer that is modified and should do me until I get enough for a sterling carb. But I'm gonna have to tune it, I'm sure....
